Privacy Policy

The short version

We don't have user accounts, we don't run ads or tracking scripts, and we never see your card details. We keep only what we need to unlock what you bought and, if you choose to sign up, your email address for report news.

Who is responsible

What we collect

• Purchase records: when you buy, our payment provider tells us the order number and which plan you bought. We store that with a random code linking it to your browser, so we can unlock it right away.
• Your license key: if you unlock with a key, it is stored in a secure cookie on your device so we can check with Lemon Squeezy that it is still valid.
• Technical logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
• Email address: only if you sign up for report news. We store it in our database and use it to tell you when a new report is out. We don't verify it, share it or sell it. Email us to unsubscribe or have it deleted.

Payments

Lemon Squeezy is our merchant of record. It collects your name, email, billing address and payment details at checkout and sends your receipt and license key. Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy covers that data; we don't receive or store your card details. If you pay through Gumroad instead, Gumroad collects your payment details under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies, no analytics or advertising cookies:

• Unlock: remembers which plan this device has unlocked (up to 1 year).
• Checkout: links a checkout to your browser so you're unlocked when you return (1 day).
• Preview access: remembers the preview password while the site is private (30 days).

Service providers

We use Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database), and Lemon Squeezy and Gumroad (payments and license keys). They process data on our behalf, some of it outside India, under their own security and privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase records for as long as needed to provide your plan and meet tax and accounting obligations. You can remove the unlock cookie at any time with "Forget this device" on the Unlock page or by clearing your browser cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU or UK GDPR, or US state laws), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. We don't sell your personal data.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above.
